Campus-Wide Captioning
Everyone benefits from having unlimited captioning, translation and note-taking services. It’s common for colleges and universities to start with a single Streamer™ room that supports just one student, then to quickly move to more students, and eventually to support every student and staff member in the school. The total cost for unlimited services is 5 to 10 cents per student per month (that’s not a misprint) - the more students you have, the lower the price. This gives every student and staff member access to unlimited captioning, translation, and note-taking services throughout the year, anytime and as often as desired.
Easy to Do. We’ll set up everything for you. We’ll create all the admin, professor, staff and student accounts. Assign captioning rooms to individuals. Set up your preferred Phrase categories and Welcome messages. We’ll also create an email that you can send to each person explaining how to access the services, and of course host training sessions for your staff.
Remote and On-Campus Use. Whatever ends up happening in the fall, we've got you covered. The same system can be used in the classroom or in remote-learning situations. For remote learning, Streamer provides open and/or closed captioning with any livestream platform (such as Skype, Facebook Live, WebEx, Zoom, Google Meets, etc.) and also supports direct integration with Zoom's closed captioning menu.
Private and Secure. Unlike other apps, Streamer fully complies with student privacy laws. Your data is yours alone. You control all access, and when you delete the data, it's gone forever.
